If your project is procured, as so many are, under design and build, then you will likely want or need someone to act as the employer’s agent. This role dedicates someone to ensuring the project is coordinated, consultants are properly novated, and contracts are properly administered.

The risks of not doing so are multiple. By working with experienced employer’s agents and contract administrators, you will be able to relax in the knowledge that your project is being properly managed. Costs will be properly controlled, and notices responded to, along with the following of correct contract procedures.
