We have been involved in numerous local projects and are delighted to be delivering the new sheltered disabled access at Ashtead’s Peace Memorial Hall in Woodfield Lane.
As reported this week in the Dorking and Leathered Advertiser, the memorial hall has received further funding from Mole Valley District Council and our designs for the new porch covered doors are now being submitted for planning approval.

Ashtead Peace Memorial sheltered disabled access
This is an end-to-end project where following planning approval, we will be managing the contractor tendering process to achieve the best possible value and project managing the build through to completion in early 2017.
The grant, from the Community Building Grants Scheme, was vital to help the project proceed as Jane Hiley, chairman of the hall’s trustees, explained “We have lots of clients and friends who come to the hall and are wheelchair users.
“It’s about a year-long project. The money is hugely important because without it I’m not sure we would be able to take this up.”
The hall is home to around 50 organisations and the management committee will be fundraising for the remaining amount.
