Chawton Hill have been working with Cats Protection to help them with the rebranding of their stores in a number of locations, including Harrogate, Newcastle and locations in Scotland.
In 2023, Cats Protection changed their brand image, the first update since 1998. The new logo, designed by studio Lukecharles features a bespoke typography and colour palette. The aim of the project was to change people’s “understanding of and attitude towards cats”, urging them to learn more about what the charity does so they can support it and use its services.
Chawton Hill helped oversee the planning and implementation process, which required particular care for stores such as the historic spa town of Harrogate in Yorkshire. Due to the regulations associated with the heritage location, and differing rules in different areas, we needed to liaise carefully with local authorities and ensure changes met with approval.
