The second in our Partner Profile series is with property management company, Urban Point based in New Malden, Surrey.

Realising the immense potential within Surrey and with the ever growing need for new residential blocks of flats,  Urban Point was one of the early entrants into the Surrey property management sector over 20 years ago.

Our first project together involved reviewing a Health & Safety Risk Assessment on a three story block of residential flats in Dorking. This 6 week, £50K to £100K  project covers managing the internal and external refurbishment and includes;

  • Initial inspection of the premises
  • Preparation of a full specification of works
  • Invitation of tenders from a selected list of contractors
  • Evaluation of the tenders leading to our recommendation for acceptance

Following the tender process, we will continue to provide Contract Administration and Project Management services through to the completion of the works towards the end of this year. One key aspect is our commitment to keeping all tenants advised throughout the refurbishment process, acting on any issues that might be raised and being the liaison point for the various parties during the works.

Our ISO 9001:2008 certification helps us ensure everyone is aware of when the various works will be carried out and we take great pride in minimising the disruption to tenants everyday lives.
