The Argus Lofts in Brighton experienced a serious roof fire, caught here on camera. Chawton Hill were called in to carry out a full building fire damage survey report, specify repairs, liaise with the appointed insurance loss adjusters and project manage the roof reinstatement and flat refurbishments.
The roof decking caught alight and at the height of the incident here were six fire engines, one aerial ladder platform and the command support unit on site. Fortunately there were no injuries but extensive damage to the roofing and flats below.
