Our ecclesiastical experience stretches back to the inception of Chawton Hill. Over the years and numerous projects we have built up a detailed understanding on how best to design and successfully manage the build of e.g. Church Extensions, Halls and Community Buildings.
We are very experienced in gaining planning approval on greenbelt sites or within conservation areas. Our sympathetic use of matching external materials helps the design meet conservation area requirements and by careful use of levels we can reduce the visual impact of a new building, helping it harmonise with adjacent buildings.
We specify the latest energy efficient and programmable lighting, under floor heating and solar glazing. Our space planning systems maximise all of the available accommodation within the building and through experience, we effectively plan works on occupied sites and in close proximity to neighbouring properties, keeping disruption and inconvenience to a minimum.
Our ecclesiastical experienced extends to carrying out Quinquennial Reports having inspected a range of Churches and ancillary buildings for our clients and would welcome the opportunity to provide details of our experience in this particular field.
Two exceptional Catholic Church Community facilities in the Parish of Effingham and Fetcham opened by Bishop Richard Moth of the Diocese of Arundel and Brighton (see the pictures above).
We hold ISO 9001:2015 certification, ensuring our internal works systems and customer service levels are as efficient as possible. The award citation reads;
“The provision of residential and commercial building surveys through to the design and project management of complex construction projects across various sectors with the UK.”
