Chawton Hill launch Dorset building surveys – we are delighted to announce the further expansion of our building survey service to include Dorset and the surrounding area.
Our latest team member is Malcolm Howarth who will be working remotely from Blanford Forum, Dorset offering our well established building survey service to areas such as; Bath, Wells, Glastonbury, Castle Cary, Bruton, Frome, Warminster, Bradford on Avon, Bournemouth, Winton, Westbourne, Boscombe, Southbourne, Littledown, Broadstone, Swanage, Wareham, Wimborne, Christchurch, Ringwood, New Milton, Dorchester, Weymouth & Salisbury.
We continue to received very positive feedback to our new and revised Building Survey Report which Malcolm will be using to help house hunters in and around Dorset understand the structure and condition of their potential new home. As highlighted by RICS, it can cost up to £12,000 to repair an unsurveyed property, so investing a few hundred pounds before purchase to identify any issues and provide an estimate of the repair costs, can put a buyer in a strong negotiation position.
Malcolm will also be offering our popular, free walk around service giving potential buyers the opportunity to meet with your RICS qualified Surveyor and answer any questions you may have about the building.
But it’s not just the condition of a property we cover during our Dorset building surveys. Our RICS regulated surveyors can advise on how it might be possible to alter or extend in the best way. We can help with thoughts on how the Party Wall Act 1996 effects the property and the scope and merits of any proposed building work. Our in-house design and build project team would be delighted to assist you with any future development or extension plans, helping with approvals, contractor tendering and managing the project from the start to handover.
A building survey in Dorset could be the best few hundred pounds you’ve ever spent!
