David Edwards and Stephen Holmes are the founders and directors of Chawton Hill Associates. Both directors have considerable experience in the design and project management of Health, Education and Commercial Sector buildings and retain a hands-on approach to every commission that is won by the Practice.
Our aim is to build strong partnerships with all our Clients and service providers. It has always been our firm intention to seek out long term and sustainable benefits for those that place commissions with our Company and we will strive to deliver to the very best of our abilities and to meet the demands of each and every client.

Key People

David Edwards has a wealth of Project Management and Employer’s Agent experience. He has previously worked as a Senior Surveyor and Team Manager before becoming a Director of Chawton Hill Associates.

He is involved with all of our clients and specialises in the Health and Education sectors of the business.

Steve Holmes has many years of experience in the building industry and has experience in a diverse range of building and development projects.

He has been heavily involved in team management and business development for a range of companies and has now focused his attention on the exciting challenges that Chawton Hill Associates Ltd creates.

As a Director he maintains close contact with clients and follows each project through to completion. He is involved in the careful
selection of project teams and always enjoys a challenge.

See-kiu Tang (CQ) is an experienced and creative professional. His design flair and ability to manage complex and demanding projects makes him a very strong team member. CQ is our Senior Chartered Surveyor and we have total confidence in his skills and continuing commitment to our growth.

Mark Belton is a very knowledgeable and capable Surveyor. He works on a wide range of building projects and has the ability to communicate and form understanding and strong working relationships with our Clients. Mark has recently qualified as a Chartered Surveyor and specialises in Party Wall Awards, Planning Applications, and the Design and Project Management of all types of buildings.

Alex Falconer joined us in August 2010. He has a BSc (Hons) degree in Architectural Technology and has carved a niche for himself preparing CAD drawings and developing his own style of innovative building design. Alex will continue to drive forward our growing design division and achieved ACIAT status in 2011.

Bob Hutton and David are our experienced team of Clerk of Works. Both of them have years of knowledge built by dealing with construction projects from both an on site management background and project facilitation roles. All of our projects run smoother when Clerks of Works are engaged. They are always on hand to offer advice on site, meet Clients and report back to our offices with progress and construction updates.

Phyllis Tilley and Katharine King Phyllis and Katharine are the backbone of the office and provide the team with support in the form of data inputting, accountancy, shorthand, typing, payroll and telephony services. They both are a calm influence in a busy and exciting office.

Karin Wilkins has recently been appointed to lead marketing operations and support the firm with future expansion. She took some time out of the business world to bring up her children, prior to that she was the conference manager for a leading London law firm where she arranged events around the world.
